Island Fibers is the collaboration of Debbie Hayward and Maxine Bronstein. We work with many fibers, from alpaca to yak, to create our handwoven and hand knit rugs, blankets, garments, and home accessories, but we focus on the exceptional fleece from Lopez Island sheep. We love every step of the process "from sheep to shawl," and demonstrate the stages of this transformation at our studio.
